Intended use:
8-channel micropipette can attract samples of medium density and low to moderate viscosity.
Restrictions on use:
This 8-channel Micropipette sample suction device is designed to suck liquids with the following limitations:
- The temperature of both tools and solutions must be between 15 ° C and 40 ° C (59 ° F to 104 ° F). Consult the manufacturer for use at temperatures outside this range.
- Steam pressure up to 500 mbar
- Viscosity: 260 mPa s (260 cps).
Restrict activity:
Liquids that are viscous and have high adhesion can reduce volume accuracy. Volume accuracy may also be impaired when mixing the sample.
Other liquids with an ambient temperature of more than 1 ° C / ± 1.8 ° F.
Activity exclusions:
Users must ensure device compatibility with intended applications.
This tool cannot be used:
- For liquids not compatible with polypropylene and FKM.
- For liquids not compatible with polycarbonate (inspection window).
- For strong liquids such as polyphenyl sulfide.
- For liquids with very high vapor pressure.
* Depending on use, we recommend that you inspect the device every 3 to 12 months. However, the cycle can be adjusted according to individual requirements.
* The pipetting weight check is performed in the following steps and in accordance with DIN EN ISO 8655, Part 6.
* Pipettes are fully autoclavable at 121 ° C (250 ° F), 2 bar, pressure (30 psi) with a holding time of at least 15 minutes, according to DIN EN 285.
1. Remove tip from micropipette.
2. Autoclave complete micropipette without extra disassembly.
3. Allow the micropipette to cool completely and dry.
* If the pipette is autoclaved regularly, the piston should be oiled with silicone oil to keep the tool moving smoothly.
